The sixth season of The Taste Brazil will start to stream on GNT and has a lot of news coming from inside the kitchens. The tastings will continue blindly with a single spoon, but the mentors… will be empowered. Or rather, even more powerful!

The big news comes with chefs Manu Ferraz and Manu Buffara joining the panel alongside Claude Troisgros and Felipe Bronze. Two women to bring a feminine perspective to the show’s gastronomy.

Manu Ferraz, who did Cook Island (Ilha do Sabor) on GNT, is the head chef at the Baianeira restaurant in São Paulo, and brings regionalism to her cuisine. As for Buffara, she was elected the Best Female Chef in Latin America by 50’s Best Restaurants and brings a cuisine with refined techniques.

Along with them, the most beloved French chef in the country and the most competitive chef on The Taste will show that it is possible to bring intense flavors to a single spoon, and will still suffer through each elimination.

The news doesn’t end there, the sixth season brings 4 Golden Cards. This time, one for each mentor. This ace up their sleeves can only be used when the mentor has two or fewer participants left. These cards are even more important since the eliminations are double until the 8th episode. Shocked already? Well, this is just the beginning! A lot of surprises are coming, but you need to pay attention to each guest, each detail, each spoon!

To ease the tension of the changes, it is worth mentioning that we will still have 10 episodes, the first being a selection in which the mentors taste, blindly, spoons prepared by 30 talented chefs from many places in Brazil.

Each kitchen has 4 spots for professional and amateur chefs. From the second episode on, the 16 chosen chefs will have to show why they should remain in the competition.

In the first test, a renowned guest brings a challenge that is intended to leave mentors and chefs on edge. At this point, only one spoon from each team will be tasted by the guest. Their choice grants immunity to the participant who prepared it.

In the second test, it is time for the chefs to show their talent and creativity in the kitchen. The challenge, as always, is to put everything on a single spoon. Without any help from their mentors, each of them will have to prepare dishes that have soul and heart. After all, only one of them will win 100 thousand reais.

And, starting in the 6th episode, we have a third test in which the chefs nominated for elimination have a face off, only 45 minutes to avoid being eliminated from the show.

There will be no lack of talent or heart in this competition. And, with new mentors, the season promises to be even more exciting.

The sixth season of The Taste Brazil is coming soon.
