By blending his experience as an on-camera chef with his journalistic spirit, Olivier Anquier created Olivier’s Journal. From 1999 to 2003, the show aired on GNT and became a major success, even topping the ratings among subscription TV channels. In early 2006, the show made a comeback on network television, and in 2009, Olivier’s Journal returned to GNT.
Between 2010 and early 2011, in partnership with Moonshot, 27 episodes were produced. The 2010 season kicked off with a series filmed in France, followed by episodes set in Brazil, showcasing the cuisine of the Pantanal wetlands in Mato Grosso, Vale do Paraíba, the international flavors of São Paulo, and wrapped on the scenic coast of Rio de Janeiro.
