The show MAD ABOUT PLANTS aims to reconnect urban residents with green scenarios and nature. Gardening will be the driving force behind this transformation, guided by journalist and landscaper Carol Costa, who is on a mission to awaken the hidden gardener in all of us.
The idea is to transform the homes of people with different reasons for wanting plants, flowers, and gardens – whether it’s to create a cozy space for relaxation, entertaining friends, reading, or even cooking.
Carol will also provide step-by-step tutorials on planting, plant care, and creating beautiful plant arrangements. Through this, the show will demonstrate how reconnecting with nature can improve quality of life in big cities.
MAD ABOUT PLANTS is produced by Moonshot Pictures and is set to air during the summer season on GNT, featuring 8 episodes of 30 minutes each.

When it comes to plants, Carol Costa has a lot to say – and teach. She left journalism for gardening and ended up combining her communication skills with her passion for plants. The result? A gardening expert who, with an upbeat and engaging approach, makes plant care seem like an instinctive skill and a fun, rewarding activity.
Carol is a journalist and landscaper, the creator of the My Plants website, and a columnist for the Gardening segment at BandNews FM. She has hosted More Color, Please on GNT and authored the books My Plants – Gardening for Everyone (Even Those Who Kill Cacti), 365 Days to Plant, and Vegetable Garden in Pots. She also travels across Brazil teaching courses and giving lectures to groups and companies, as well as training employees of garden centers and florists. For the past three years, she has hosted the web series #MyVegetableGarden.
