Connecting with the sensorial way in which chef Claude Troisgros perceives the world around him, the documentary’s proposal is to follow him on a journey along a stream of the São Francisco River, which goes from Petrolina to Piaçabuçu, at its spring. We will see a bit of Claude’s past history, from his childhood in Roane, where he saw the emergence of Nouvelle Cuisine up close, to his decision to settle down in Brazil and thus contribute to the building of our national gastronomy. In this adventure, we will see how he is still enchanted and moved when coming into contact with Brazil’s cultural diversity, its characters, flavors and ingredients unique to each biome, and how he truly resembles a child delighting in the country’s landscapes.
