After the success of the first seasons, Airport – Restricted Area continues to land in other Brazilian airports. The third season will follow the daily operations of Brazilian Customs and other departments inside the country’s three main airports: Guarulhos, in São Paulo; Galeão, in Rio de Janeiro; and Confins, in Minas Gerais – three of the country’s largest entry and exit points. The series goes inside the restricted areas of the largest airports in Brazil to show behind-the-scenes operations, investigations and discoveries, showcasing the work against international drug trafficking and other forms of crime. It reveals the efforts to ensure immigration control, the strict customs control, the logistics and the work to guarantee the safety and protection of the airport and its passengers. Risk is everywhere – from people who are not qualified to enter the country, crimes and criminals, operational failures, viruses and diseases that can threaten Brazil’s fauna and flora.
