This is the daily life of João, played by Vinícius de Oliveira – a taxi driver with supernatural powers who suffers as he unravels the mysteries and dramas of his passengers. Life is not easy for him, but with spiritual protection, João is ready to face even the harshest of realities.

Who doesn’t remember the young boy from Central Station? Walter Salles’ revelation in a film that captivated the country and ushered in a new era of Brazilian cinema. That boy, Vinícius, has grown up and is now stepping into his first TV lead role. The cast also features the award-winning actress Laila Garin, who won Best Actress for Elis, the Musical. Laila plays João’s wife in the show.

Another key element of this show is Zé’s Bar, the main location of the story. There, João seeks advice from his spiritual guide, who helps him navigate the dangers of his findings.
