LAST STOP: 174

The film introduces us to the life of Sandro do Nascimento, a poor boy who runs away to the streets after witnessing his mother being killed. Other than his stories, it talks about the characters he meets in life, the playful space he finds on the street and his time in Candelária, where he survives the horrendous massacre of July 23, 1993. This same boy is the protagonist of the fateful hijacking of bus 174, seven years later. In parallel to Sandro’s life, the film tells the story of Marisa, a mother searching for her son who was taken by a drug dealer, and the impressive story of other characters our protagonist crosses paths with in his saga.
