9MM São Paulo

With a Brazilian cast and entirely filmed in high definition, 9mm: São Paulo is the first original Portuguese-language miniseries produced by FOX in Brazil.

“9mm:São Paulo”  is a police drama with two direction units, shot on location in São Paulo, including real police stations, hospitals, training centers and favelas. The TV series is loosely inspired by real-life cases and by months of research, including interviews with actual police officers. This groundwork led to FOX’s first drama miniseries, a production that exposes the challenges the police face while enforcing the law in a city as intense as São Paulo.

“9mm: São Paulo” follows a group of investigators navigating a series of seemingly unrelated crimes. With professionalism – and limited resources – they tackle the harsh realities of being cops in this complex city. In addition to facing external problems on a daily basis, this team also has to deal with personal conflicts that arise very easily.
